We meet Travel & Personal Style Blogger Elena, versatile and passionate about travel and life in Milan, and Nicola, the "plus one" of Elena and lawyer by profession. Both in love with their neighborhood: Porta Venezia.
Ciao Elena & Nicola! What are your favourite ways to take coffee?
Elena: Definitely a caffè americano - long, served in a huge and hot mug to hold with two hands. For me, coffee is not a "one shot" moment but something to enjoy over a long time.
Nicola: A large caffè macchiato in the bar on the mornings when I can afford the luxury of being late. Enjoyed with a good newspaper, not in front of the PC.
Favourite place in Milan?
(in unison): Porta Venezia!
E: Are there other areas of Milan?
N: 20129, there are no other areas for us, from Porta Venezia to Piazza Risorgimento.
And your favourite dish?
E: Guys, everything you can mix in a bowl that is colorful and light. Absolutely not vegan. I love pokes, no pizza. I'll go against the grain and say salads and balls.
N: A good pasta, possibly without meat and strictly in the restaurant because I'm not good at cooking.
Favourite designer?
E: I say Philippe Starck for his versatility and for being eclectic. I love his juicer.
N: Seletti with all the wallpapers, the clouds...
E: ... so when we go to live together, Will and Grace style, we will get Seletti wallpaper.
N: Of course!
What are your essential pieces of clothing?
E: In the end, two things will never be missing in my suitcase: a white men's T-shirt and a men's denim shirt, let's live simply.
N: For me, a black hooded sweatshirt.
E: Yes, I can confirm, it's always the same outfit.
N: I have a uniform, like in cartoons. I have a wardrobe full of black sweatshirts like a super hero.
